Great place to sit and chat while enjoying tasty treats and delicious coffee! Very nice staff, and reasonable pricing for the Pearl District!

I've tried this shop a few years ago when it was still called Cool Moon Ice Cream. When I was searching up ice cream shops and decided on this one, I had no idea it was the same place. I'm glad I went back though. Marionberry (5/5): I love the marionberry. This flavor is hard to find.. The scoop I got this time around was definitely different from what I had last time. It used to be more of a creamy ice cream with streaks of marionberry flavor/sauce throughout. Nonetheless, it was still so good! I love that it isn't too sweet or tart. There is plenty of indoor seating with a water station. You could also take the ice cream outside and sit at the park across the street. They have a good variety of flavors. You only get 2 samples per customer if you want to try any though.

Had a nice visit this evening to the Miss Oz shop. We are walking distance from the location but still had never been in so was excited to try a new spot. They mentioned they'd been in business for 17 years but just recently changed the name. The atmosphere and decor is charming and sweet. There are photos and art on the wall as well as whimsical decor inside. It felt playful and clean which I can appreciate. The cream flavor selection was pretty vast with some more unique flavors like horchata and Thai iced tea. I always appreciate some out of the box option. I went with the fresh banana which I'm always partial to when it's available. The ice cream tasted fresh and portions were decent. Split scoop defiantly the way to go. It's definitely a more dense ice cream than some I've had but delivered on flavor and overall texture. A great option for the area and a reasonable alternative to the salt and straw and other NW options. I would go back again.

Looking for an affogato? They have em here. Looking for a mathagato, they got that too. We tried the croffle out. Was very interesting especially the cheese on top. I liked it, gf not so much, but what an interesting dessert. Their ice cream flavors are hitters too.

Cute little shop. Friendly staff. Great ice cream! I was in town and decided to check it out. I definitely would swing by when I have another chance.

As a dessert enthusiast, I was excited to discover Miss Oz while exploring downtown. While I was tempted by the unique croffle desserts, my appetite called for something simpler: ice cream. I spent a few minutes perusing the flavor options, but nothing truly captured my attention. I was almost ready to leave empty-handed when I decided to give the mint chocolate a chance. It turned out to be a delightful choice. The ice cream was creamy and refreshing, and the shaved chocolate added a delightful textural element. I prefer this to chunky chocolate bits, which can sometimes be too overwhelming. While I may not have been blown away by the overall ice cream selection, the mint chocolate was a pleasant surprise. If you're in the area and craving a quick, satisfying dessert, I recommend giving Miss Oz a try.

After seeing the reviews, I decided to visit for a croffle. It was a cool rainy day and the place was empty, but the young lady behind the counter was cheerful. She suggested caramel ice cream for the croffle, and it was a great choice. The creation was fun and delicious, and I will visit for another when I can.

I'm insecure about my favorite ice cream flavor. Call it my Neapolitan Complex. I am a big salt n straw fan and it takes a lot of guilt to go to other Ice cream establishments but Portland has so many good ones to offer that once in a while I let my loyalties go astray . The store was empty when we walked in and the person behind the counter was very sweet and helpful . She let us both sample two flavors each , which is their limit over summers . we settled on Kulfi and Horchata cookies. The ice-cream was creamy and flavorful and hit all the flavor notes . I loved not being rushed and having a few minutes to make my decision. There are plenty of flavors to suit all taste buds from chocolate and rocky road to summer Rose , they have something for all you Ice-Cream snobs . They also have other sweet offerings like cookies , waffles etc and plenty of options in those too . Prices are slightly on the higher side but as they say 'its a treat'.

I found this spot down the street from where we were housesitting and it was a great find! My husband and I shared: - Croffle Pop with Ice Cream and Brown Cheese - Thai Iced Tea and Birthday Ice Cream The ice cream was very good, but the Croffle Pop was my favorite. The brown cheese (I believe she said it was Norwegian) was so good and such a unique addition to the dish. Parking in this area sucks. We walked there, but I believe you'll only find paid street parking. This little gem is 100% worth checking out while in Portland.
